How long does it take to deliver my Globalia hurricante shutters?
This depends on the size and complexity of the order, but it usually takes us 4 to 6 weeks from the date production begins.
How long does the installation work take?
The delivery time is 4 to 6 weeks after receiving the advanced payment. Installation work varies depending on the difficulty and height, if telescopic equipment, scaffolding or “hammocks” are required to perform the installation. A team of 2 technicians typically installs about 25 square meters of screens per day.
What is the maximum size of hurricane screens that can be installed?
There are no limits on width and length. For very large areas, our technical department may recommend modifications and special installment protocols.
What is the wind speed that your shutters and screens withstand?
This is a simple question, with a difficult answer. All hurricane protection products we offer are designed on the basis of pressure, and there is no direct correlation between wind speed and pressure, as there are many variables. However, since our products are approved for use inside the HVHZ, it successfully demonstrated the ability to withstand the pressure equivalent to 240 Km/hra or 76PSF pressure winds.
